AI Scaffold for Essay Writing

In this video, I demonstrate how AI can be used as a scaffold for English essay writing, rather than a shortcut.

Using a real exam-style writing task, I introduce a four-draft writing process:

Draft 1 (original writing), Draft 2 (self-revision and peer feedback), Draft 3 (AI-enhanced version), and Draft 4 (final student writing).

Students learn to select and adapt effective expressions from AI output while maintaining their own ideas and voice.

This approach helps improve coherence, vocabulary, and grammatical range, and is especially suitable for IELTS and academic writing preparation.
