Project Charter

This project charter outlines the design and implementation of a hybrid professional development program titled “Empower Your Teaching with AI: From Understanding Learners to Designing Change,” aimed at helping in-service teachers integrate brain science, mental health awareness, and evidence-based instructional design into their practice. The program combines research from Harvard and MIT with practical applications, enabling teachers to understand learners’ cognitive, emotional, and cultural development, promote wellbeing, and use AI tools for reflective teaching. It includes a five-module curriculum, an AI mentor chatbot prototype, and field testing with partner schools, while excluding large-scale commercialization or K–12 curriculum development. The timeline spans from September to December 2025, culminating in evaluation and credential review, with the ultimate goal of building a sustainable, globally connected community of reflective, AI-empowered educators.
